Cary Anthony Jr. was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana on July 19, 1950 to Cary Anthony Sr. and Clara Anthony. He was the middle child of 11. Cary was affectionately known to his family as "June."
He attended St. Matthew Elementary School as well as St. Matthew High School. Cary was a committed and dedicated employee of DSI Trucking where he loved driving those trucks until he could no longer work.
On September 26, 1986 he joined Ella Anthony in holy matrimony where they were members of St. Matthew Baptist Church in Westlake, under the leadership of Rev. Ezekiel Joubert and its present pastor Rev. E. W. Ford. Of this union, God blessed them with a son, Terrance Anthony who Cary loved dearly.
Cary enjoyed fishing, gardening, trucking and was extremely passionate about his family and friends.
On Wednesday, January 9, 2019 this amazing man of God received his wings. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers, Willie Anthony and Albert Will Anthony and sister, Bettie Hardison.
Cary leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Ella Anthony and one son, Terrance Anthony of Moss Bluff, La.; sisters, Bernice Anthony of Houston ,Tx., Lovie Sanford (Robert) of Missouri City, Tx., Emmer Jean Anthony of Bryan, Tx., Janet Charles (Percy) of Houston, Tx., Ruth Brown of Houston, TX. and Mary Anthony of Houston, Tx.; one brother, Allen Anthony of Bryan, Tx. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
