Gladys Joseph 97 departed this life on Friday, February 1, 2019.

A native of Grand Prairie, Louisiana she was a resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

She is survived by four daughters, Annie Jones of Missouri City, Tx., Evelyn ( Donald) Durden of Penbrook Pine, Florida, Vanessa Clayton of Kingwod, Tx. and Daisy Joseph of Los Angeles, Ca.; six sons, Rufus (Joann) Joseph,  Albert (Gloria) Joseph Jr., Ellis (Clara) Joseph, Joshua (Barbara) Joseph, and Samuel (Sherry) Joseph of Lake Charles, La., Carl (Sheila)  Joseph of Lafayette, La.; three sisters, Sylvina Murphy of Tacoma, Wa, Annie Mae Lavergne of Houston, Tx.,  and Ruth Jordan of Colorado; one brother, Louis G. Fontenot of Los Angeles, Ca. and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Joseph Sr. and daughter, Ruby N. (Arthur) Thierry of Lake Charles, La.
