Alfred Anderson Sr. was born October 15, 1943 in Opelousas, Louisiana to Wilbert and Nora Anderson.

Alfred leaves to mourn his wife of 21 years, Verna Marie Anderson; one sister, Nora Chatman; one daughter, Franchesa "Tweety"; three sons, Alfred Jr. (Janice), Kevin (Rosaline), and Gary (Tessa); fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Nora; seven brothers, Wilbert Jr., Jerry, Ivery, Harry, Dalton, Terry, Leroy; one sister, Joyce; and one son, Albert.
