Anastasia Deneen Bellow

Anastasia Deneen Bellow was born on October 24, 1966, to the parents of Diana Cotlong Bellow and Philip Joseph Bellow in Lake Charles, LA. She was raised by both parents along with her grandmother, Roberta Cotlong.

Anastasia lived most of her life in Mossville, Louisiana, until she moved to the town of Iowa in 2016. She was baptized at an early age by former Pastor Arthur Etienne at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and continued worship with current pastor, Desmond Wallace.  Anastasia praised her savior in this church from birth until death.

Anastasia graduated from Sulphur High School in 1984. She then attended business school at Delta School of Business in Lake Charles, Louisiana. After graduating from Delta School of Technical College in 1992, she worked in the casino industry as a dealer and at H&R Block as a tax preparer for 27 years.

During the winter of 1994 she gave birth to her only son, Ananias Byron Bellow. When she wasn’t working, she spent most of her time with her son, along with other close friends and family.

Anastasia gained her Heavenly Wings on Friday, January 15, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. surrounded by her sisters and son. She is preceded in death by her mother, Diana LaFleur, fathers, Philip Bellow and James Talbert, sisters, Rochelle Guidry and Antoinette Bellow, and one brother, Byron Bellow, her mother-in-law Jeanette Jones, maternal grandparents Roberta and Hardy Cotlong, and paternal grandparents Adrien and Pearl Bellow.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Ananias Bellow, four sisters, Cynthia (Brad) Guillory, LaTasha (Andrew) Boddie, NaTasha (Heath) Mott, and Youlette Carter, and two brothers, Micheal Frances and Jermond Talbert, sisters-in-law, Eva (Eric) Wyble and Jeanelle Jones and brothers-in-law Eddie (Latonya) Jones, Jermaine Jones and Cornell Jones. She also leaves behind her special friend, Steve Bargky, three aunts, Catherine (Earl) Pappion, Ophelia (Donald) Collins, and Ornadelle Valmont, and one uncle Ferman Bellow.  She will be missed by her nieces, Miyah and Jasmine Jones, Danisha and Alexia Vizia, Mia and Mya Kelly, Sydine Jones and nephews, Jeremiah Guillory, Kevin Lewis, Edward Vizia, Aden Carter, Justin Jones and Eric Wyble, Jr. as well as her Godchildren, Cassie Franklin, Jardin Payne, Marissa Parker, Lazavier Haley and Christopher Manuel.

There are numerous cousins that loved her, as well as many, many friends. So many will miss her smiling face, her boisterous attitude and her love and true joy for the life that she was blessed with.
