On Sunday November 30, 2025 God needed another Angel and he invited Beatrice to join him.
Beatrice gladly accepted the invitation. At 7:27am Beatrice walked in heaven and was greeted by her loving husband Louis Thomas.
Beatrice Marie Comeaux Thomas was born on July 30, 1935 in Washington, Louisiana to Vilmo and Ethel Dayon Comeaux. She was loving known as “Ms. Bea”.
Beatrice was a graduate of J. S. Clark in Opelousas, LA. After graduation she moved to Lake Charles, LA. She later joined Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Alvin Brass. Beatrice served faithfully until the time of death. She was a member of the Widows and Salt Ministry.
She enjoyed sewing which she did for many years for numerous clients. Other hobbies included watching soap operas, sports, shopping and talking on the phone. Beatrice worked many years in retail sales before retiring.
She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters Monica (Randy) Malveaux, Beaumont, TX, Shelia Handy and Trinette Thomas both of Lake Charles, Louisiana two sons Tronald and Jamar Thomas both of Lake Charles, LA. Eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, four sister in laws and two brother in laws and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Thomas, her parents Ethel Dayon and Vilmo Comeaux, one daughter Roxie Perkins and one sister Evlira Pallet.
