Bertel Reder II Obituary

Bertel Reder II was born on August 22, 1953 to Bertel and Gloria Reder in Lake Charles, La.

He was a  member of Christian Baptist Church, under the pastorate of Rev. Edward Alexander Jr.

He graduate from Lake Charles High School, and McNeese State University, where he received his Bachelor's degree.

He was united in holy matrimony with Wanda Brown-Reder, and to this union was born, Tia Reder, along with two step sons:  Kenneth Brown and Jerard Brown.

He worked for the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Juvenile Probation Office for 17 years and retired in 2014.

Bertel Reder was preceded in death by his father, Bertel Reder I and mother, Gloria Johnson Reder.  He was called to his final resting place on Sunday, July 7, 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Brown-Reder of Lake Charles, La.; two stepsons, Kenneth and Jerard Brown of Lake Charles, La.; one son, Karl Joseph of Oklahoma City, Ok; four daughters, Tia Deanna Reder of Lake Charles, La., Tanisha Nicole (Brayden) Cyprian of Vacaville, Ca., Shawna (Michael) Mitchell of Sugarland, Tx., and Stephanie (Nino) Etienne of Kileen, Tx.; one brother, Crayton Darryl (Constance) Reder of Eastvale, Ca.; one aunt, Lillie Pearl Jones of Los Angeles, Ca.; four grandchildren, Giselle Mitchell, Aurielle Mitchell, Faith Etienne and Nino Etienne Jr.; one nephew, Jared Andrew Reder, and other relatives, church family and friends.
