Obituary

Candace LaShay Wilson was born on July 2, 1982  to Elaine Marie Wilson and Jerry Lewis in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

She attended Parkview High School and graduated in 2003.  She went on to attend Texas Career College in 2006 and became a certified Medical Assistant.

Candace was a soft spoken person and always willing to help others.  Although she had no children of her own, she absolutely loved children and they loved her.  She also loved animals and left behind her beloved dog, Bailey.

Candace gained her wings on Friday, March 10, 2023. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Enell and Elodie Pitre Wilson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Elaine Wilson of Beaumont, TX. and Jerry Lewis of Lake Charles, Louisiana; grandmother, Catherine Wilson of Lake Charles, Louisiana; one sister, Melissa Allen of Little Rock, AR; two step sisters, Alicia Guillory and Allison Guillory; one step brother, Rayford Jason Jr.; four aunts, Carolyn Moore of Garland, Texas, Carla Wilson and Stephanie "Tiff" Gobert both of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Linda Durgin (Herbert) of Ville Platte, LA; two nieces, Aislinn Moore (Keshawn) and Bryanna Port both of Little Rock, AR and a host of cousins, family and friends.
