Brother Cleo Huert St. Romain was born June 20, 1954 at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder, Louisiana to the late George St. Romain Sr. and the late Mary Myrtle (Sampson) St. Romain. He was the fifth child of seven children. He was a member of the Mount Canaan Baptist Church.
He graduated from DeRidder High School and then Cleo joined the United States Marine. However, he was honorably discharged due to his health. Cleo worked for the City of DeRidder for twenty years.
Cleo married Patricia Ann Johnson on March 3, 1979; they were married for forty-five years.
Cleo was preceded in death by his father, George St. Romain Sr., mother, Mary M. Sampson St. Romain, sister, Brenda Stevenson, and brother, George (Pony) St. Romain Jr and grandson, Kesean St. Romain (12/3/2024).
Cleo leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Patricia St. Romain, three sons, Ervin Gatson (Portia) of New Llano, LA. Kedrick Mckinley (Tasha) of Bunkie, La., Keith St. Romain (Shaquilla) of Memphis, TN; and one daughter, Tyronda St. Romain Campbell (Johnathan) of DeRidder, ten grandchildren; siblings, Audrey Harris of DeRidder, LA; Norvell St. Romain of Fort Worth, TX; Debbie Smith (Charles) of DeRidder, LA; Cynthia Colvin Williamson of DeRidder, LA; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
