Curtis "Wax" Junius Reado

Curtis Junius Reado, 73, was born July 29, 1950, in Lafayette, Louisiana, to Wanda Mae Winters Reado and Eddie Reado, Jr.

Curtis resided in Westlake/Mossville/Sulphur area most of his life.  He worked as a longshoreman and a cement finisher.  Those who knew him all knew that he was a God fearing, loyal father, grandfather, and friend.  He departed this life on May 4, 2024, at his daughter’s residence.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Jacquetta Nicole White; her children, Donovan James Scott, Dontae’ Jamar Scott, and Doniesha Jade Scott; one son, Derrick Paul White; his children, Derrick Paul White, Jr., and Derinae  Patrice White; his sisters, Eddie Mae and Mary Reado; his brothers, Randy (Kathy) Reado and David Reado; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Michael Reado, Edward “Fats” Reado, and Johnny Roy Reado.
