Dave Ross Jr.

Dave Ross Jr. was born on February 1, 1957, to the late Dave and Bessie Ross.. He transitioned from this earthly life on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 6:00 AM at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.

He was baptized at an early age at Mount Zion Baptist Church.  He attended Birdie Akins Elementary School and graduated from Sulphur High School where he was outstanding in track and field.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Bessie Ross; brother, Charles V. Ross (Ethel); sisters, Patsy V. Braxton (Donald), Martha R. Bowen (Rodney), and Shianne (Debra) R. Noel (Gerald).

He is survived by three brothers, Dillard E. Ross (Rita), Michael J. Ross, and Matthew Ross (Denise); two sisters, Glenda R. Bennett and Marlene G. Kelly (Brian); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
