Obituary
Desmarika (Desi) Chantel Simon was born on December 12th, 1989 to the late Keith and Thelma Simon. Desmarika lived most of her life in Iowa, La., in the loving care of her parents. She later moved to Lake Charles, La.
Desmarika was a proud graduate of Iowa High School. (She loved her Yellowjackets!) Desi later enrolled in Stratford University and completed all courses and became a Certified Teacher's Aide.
Desmarika was preceded in death by her parents Keith and Thelma Simon.
Desi leaves to celebrate her Beautiful Life, her guardian-cousin Joezetta(Joseph)Slaughter, Grandfather John Simon, 4 Uncles...Dwayne Marshall, Darlize(Chuck) Slaughter, Kim Simon and Ivory(Donna) Simon. 1 Aunt Marissa(Tracy) Hudson, 1 God Brother Rodriguez Slaughter and 2 God sisters Michelle Hudson and Lashon Marie Dixon. She also leaves a host of cousins and friends who loved and adored her.
