Dorothy "Gene" Gail (Celestine) Lemalle

Dorothy Gail Lemalle “Gene”, 75, was born March 29, 1949 in Washington, La, one out of 14 children, to Wilson and Willie Mae Celestine.  Dorothy was raised in Plaisance, La and later relocated to Lake Charles, La where she lived most of her life. She was a member of First Jerusalem Church. She retired from Prien Lake Mall as the Custodian Supervisor. She was a mother of  two biological children , Bridget & Nolan A Lemalle, and she extended that motherly love to many many others. 

Ms. Dorothy departed this life on Sunday, February 23, 2025, in her home surrounded by family. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, her life partner of 42 years, Robert Hall; son, Rev. Nolan (Cathie) Lemalle; bonus son, Casey Robinson; brother, Frank (Brenda) Celestine; special cousin/bonus sister, Celestine Kennerson; grandchildren & bonus grandchildren Ezlla (Anthony), Carly, Jewel, Ashley, Paul, Joseph, Kenneth; 6 great grandchildren; 2 bonus great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents; 12 of her siblings; daughter, Bridget Lemalle;  godson, Scott Edwards; special cousin, James Richard; brother in law, Donald Ray Hall
