Eric Bernard Davis

Eric Bernard Davis, was born on 12-18-1990 in Lake Charles, La to the union of Ermon Bishop Davis Jr. and Sheila Guilbeaux Davis.  Eric was the eldest of 3.  He departed this life on December 8,  2024 at the age of 33. 

Eric was a life long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was an altar server until leaving for college.   He was a graduate of Sam Houston High School and attended Tyler Jr. Community College. He was a past member of the Knights of Peter Claver Branch 31 where he served as the Louisiana Jr. State Treasurer and Jr. State President.   His favorite pastime was spending time with his children, friends, cooking and fishing.  He had a passion for helping others especially the elderly. 

At the time of his death, he was employed by UPS and Dollar General.  He was also an electrician helper with his cousin. 

Eric is survived by his parents, EB and Sheila Davis. He left a legacy of love and memories with his children, Eric Davis Jr, Daughters, Khloe and Chazlyn Davis, two bonus daughters, Aniyah Lawden, and Shyanne James, his companion Ashley Lawden, two sisters, Chelsey Davis of Houston TX, and Erin Davis of Denver CO, uncles, Damon Brown, Joseph (Monica) and Troy Guilbeaux (Norella), Ryan Bellard.  His aunt Daphne Hawkins, God Sister Chavonda Doucet, and Godmother Pamela Alfred.

He was proceeded in death by his Maternal grandparents, Mary Guilbeaux and Joseph Bellard, Paternal grandparents, Midred Hawkins and Ermon Davis Sr. and uncle Kerney “Dave” Brown.
