Freddie was preceded in death by his daughter, Jada Lynn Hester; brother, Chase Gayden; mother in law, Yvonne Hester, his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandparents.
Freddie leaves to cherish his wife of 20 years, Felicia Steele of Lake Charles, LA; mother, Ms. Earnestine Steele; father, Leroy Gayden (Peggy) of Beaumont, MS; five children, Alexis Steele, Destiny Steele and Freddie Steele Jr. of Hattiesburg, MS, Mya Nicole Hanks and Vaylon Cruz Hester of Lake Charles, LA; one grandson, Bryce Alexander Fairley of Hattiesburg, MS; four sisters, Jennifer (Anthony) Wilson of Brandon, MS, Fina Hence of Hattiesburg, MS, Lekida (James) Ramsey of New Augusta, MS and Melva Holliman of Mobile, AL; two brothers, Roy (Trina) Gayden of Beaumont, MS and Melvin Holliman III of Pascagoula, MS; father in law, Larry Hester; sister in law, Latonia Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
