Glendey Latour Obituary

Glenda Gail Thomas Latour was born to the late Ernest  and Betty Hebert on April 5, 1958.  She was the first daughter of ten children.  Glenda lived life full of joy even up to her last hour.  On September 5, 2021 God called her home.

Glenda was baptized at an early age at Union Zion, under the leadership of Joseph Bernard.  She found love and married her best friend the late Winston Latour II.  The two were blessed with one beautiful baby girl, Tineka Latour Ceasar and one handsome son, Winston Latour III who preceded her in death.  She gained two beautiful bonus daughters, Arisha Allison and Shakina Bryars.

Glenda later joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Desmond Wallace.  She enjoyed church service and hearing God's message until her health wouldn't allow her to get out.

Glenda was preceded in death  by her parents, her brother, Carl Lee Thomas; three step brothers, Nick, Perry, and Joseph Hebert; one sister, Brenda Hebert; three step sisters, Earnestine, Jackie, and Florine.

She leaves to cherish her memories her baby girls, Tineka (Kevin) Ceasar, Arisha  Allison and Shakina (Michael)  Bryars; four brothers, Gary (Felicia) Joseph, Terry (Mildred) Joseph, her twin brother, Glen Thomas and Larry Hebert; four sisters, Sheila Hebert, Debra Guillory, Pamela (Shedrick) Goodly and Carol Hebert; seven grandchildren, one aunt and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  One very special loving son in law, Kevin St. (Thank you)
