Hannah Reneé Popillion Simmons
Hannah was born with her twin Heather to Joseph D. and Norma Jean Popillion on December 1, 1986. Hannah married the love of her life Emeric Dewayne Simmons March 22, 2021 Hannah enjoyed spending time with her twin sister and family. She worked for Caring Hands LLC off and on for about two years as a caregiver, Hannah was an excellent caregiver as she was such a kind and caring person who would do anything for anybody. Hannah also enjoyed traveling with her spouse Dewayne they traveled to New York, Arkansas, Kansas City, and Sioux City Iowa. She also loved to get her hair, nails, and eyelashes done also fishing. Hannah loved the Lord and going to church she joined her church home Highway To Heaven Ministries in December of 2021 where she was a very active member. Her church family will miss her tremendously but have lots of memories to cherish. Hannah peacefully passed away on December 9,2023 at Harbor Hospice Facility at the age of 37.
Hannah leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband Emeric Dewayne Simmons ( Lake Charles, La) Children Trevon, Isaiah, and Naveah Jackson and Emeric and Amberlyn Simmons. ( Lake Charles, La) Mother Norma Jean Popillion ( Kinder,La) Sisters Ramona Gail ( Eric) Cole (Oberlin,La). Farrah Popillion (Kinder,La) Heather (Jewery) Webb ( Lake Charles, La). Godmother Hazel Renthrope ( Kinder,La) One Godson Laithan Potts (Lake Charles,La) and a host of nieces, nephews, Great nieces, nephews, Cousins, family and friends. Hannah is preceded in Death by her Father Joseph David Popillion, grandparents Sylvester and Banard Popillion and Grandmother Rose Victorian. Godfather Elroy “Pie” Renthrope. The family would like to express gratitude to the staff at Christus Ochsners St. Patricks Hospital for all of their hard work. Also the staff at Harbor Hospice who cared for Hannah. Lastly to her church Highway to Heaven.
