Herman Vallier Sr. was born on February 9, 1954, to the late Albert Kimble and Annamae Thomas.
Herman was a member of Evangel Temple Family Worship and Teaching Center C.H.S.C., for 24 years under the leadership of the late Bishop Georgia Jones and Bishop Erika L. Braxter. He was a faithful member and served on the deacon’s board. He got the name “Shouting John”, because he loved to praise the Lord. Often, he would say, “I use to dance for the devil, now I’m dancing for the Lord.”
He was a custodian at Lagrange High School. He didn’t meet any strangers; his personality was one of a kind. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father Albert Kimble, and his mother Annamae Thomas, sister Syreeta Thomas, and brother Andrus Vallier.
He leaves to cherish his memories, sons: Emile Peterson (Yuri Peterson), Joseph Peterson, Herman Vallier Jr, (Ashley Vallier), daughters: Jacqueline Vallier, Inez Attle, and Victoria Vallier, siblings: Evelyn Richard, Florence Trail, Annamae Henry, Syreeta Thomas, Effiemae Babineaux, Lawrence Vallier, Willis Thomas, 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
