Ida Mae (Warner) White

Mrs. Ida Mae Warner White was born on April 8, 1932 and transitioned from earth to be with her Heavenly Father on July 29, 2021.

Ida graduated from Holy Rosary Institute  in Lafayette, Louisiana.  She later obtained an undergraduate degree in Education from Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Ida was an Educator for over 27 years and a retiree of Calcasieu Parish Schools.  She was a faithful member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church.

Ida leaves to cherish her legacy, two daughters, Yolanda Faye White and Mary Ida White Ward; two sons, Thornton White Jr. (Allyson) and Sherman Lee White (Nola Jean); five grandchildren, one sister, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
