Issac Jerome (Paw Paw) “Ike” 90, departed this life peacefully on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, Lake Charles, LA. surrounded by family and friends. He was born April 15th,1934 to George and Alberta Williams Hadnot in Mossville, Louisiana.
Issac grew up in the Mossvillle Community where he attended Mossville High School. He did hydroblasting while working at BFI/CESCO, for many years working in the construction industry and drove trucks. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, watching sports on tv and telling kids what to do. He loved keeping his vehicle clean when he was able to drive
He joined Morning Star Sanctified Church at an early age under the leadership of Rev. K. C. Gasaway
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Alberta Hadnot, his wife, Erma Jean Lee Hadnot; daughter, Cheryl Diane Hadnot, and great granddaughter, Miracle Hadnot, sibling Dorothy Mae Hadnot Moss , Iona Hadnot, Francis Hadnot Ledoux, Ruth Hadnot Hester, and brother, Clyde Hadnot.
He is survived by three sons, Darrell and Eyphit Hadnot both of Mossville, LA and Cedric (Lisa Aubrey) Hadnot of Carlyss, LA; two daughters, Lisa Hadnot (Winnfield) Jolivette, Lake Charles, LA and Cassandra Hadnot (Benjamin) Lutcher, Houston, TX; one sister, Jimmie Lee Cazer of St. Louis, Missouri and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
