Jack Warren Bushnell

Jack Warren (Junny) Bushnell age 48 of Lake Charles, La. passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2025.  Jack was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, godfather and friend whose life was full of passion and joy.

Born in Lake Charles, La. on September 2, 1976 to Jack Hamilton and Demetrie Bushnell.  He was known for his dedication, positive attitude and always willing to give a helping hand.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Jenae Bushnell, one grandson, Jai Jordyn Bushnell both of Manvel, Tx.; two sisters, Cresenthia and Ashley Bushnell of Lake Charles, La.; four brothers, John (Margaret) Bushnell of Jacksonville, Fl., Demetrius, Jessie, and Joseph Bushnell all of Lake Charles, La.; one goddaughter, Jermaine Sade' Beverly of Jacksonville, Fl.; godfather, Michael Foxall; godmothers, Jennifer Foxall and the late Juanita Foxall, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and many others who called him family.  

He was preceded in death by his mother, Demetrie Bushnell, father, Jack Hamilton, maternal grandparents, Gertrude Brignac and Jessie Bushnell, paternal grandmother, Rose Hamilton, one uncle, Jeffrey Bushnell Sr., three aunts, Juanita Foxall, Pamela Welcome, and Michelle Brignac and nephew, Demmerick Owens.
