James Melvin Brown 71 departed this life on Friday, July 24, 2020.

James was a native of Shreveport, Louisiana.

He is survived by two sisters, Beverly McKeever of Dallas, Tx. and Glenda (Kenneth) Gay of Lake Charles, La.; two brothers, Miles (Rosaline) Brown and Semico (Faye) Brown of Houston, Tx. and a host of six nieces and nephews; five great nieces and nephews.
