John Andrew Brignac

Andrew Brignac departed this life on Saturday, October 31, 2020 9:15 PM at St. Joseph Carpenter House in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Andrew was born July 7, 1938 in Mallet, Louisiana to the late Walter and Pauline Brignac.  He was one of 12 children .

Andrew married Zola Theresa Andrus The Love of his Life on May 14, 1960.  They were married for 51 years when the Lord took her home.

Andrew worked for Radford Buick of Lake Charles 35 plus years until his retirement.

Andrew loved going to church every Sunday and was always the first to arrive even before the Priest.  He loved watching the wresting, playing bingo, and he loved giving advice to his nephews about fixing stuff on their cars.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Valentine and Frank Brignac; two sisters, Clara Boutte and Patricia Lede.

Andrew leaves to cherish five sisters, Gertrude Brignac, Mary Lee Gobert, Shirley (George) Albert, Theresa Stevens, and Margaret McArthur; two brothers, Darryl (Jean) Brignac and Walter Joseph (Jane) Brignac; sisters in law, Margie, Jessie, Mona Andrus, Justine Williams, Bertha Coleman of Lake Charles, La. and Effie Steele of San Antonio, Tx.; one brother in law, Clesma Andrus of Lake Charles, La. and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
