Obituary

Kennedy Patrice DeJean was born May 17, 1999 to Lovey Brooks DeJean and Patrick Williams.  She was dedicated to God in August of that same year by god parents, Daphne Pitre and Brian Eaglin.  She graduated from LaGrange High School in 2017.  Kennedy was the mother of 2 beautiful  boys, Zaire and A'Jani whom she loved with her whole heart.  They were her heart outside of her body.  Kennedy loved helping people especially the homeless and children.  She was passionate about make up and butterflies.

She was called upon to be one of the Lords angels on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.

She leaves to cherish her mother, her father, her sons, her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. John (Lovey) Guillory; her godparents, her brothers, Malachi Fairley and Kimorian Willis and her sisters, Aerial and Emani Leihe and a host of cousins.  

Kennedy was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Hammond (Lovey) DeJean Sr.; paternal grandmother, Lee Ella Toussaint; maternal uncle, Hammond B. DeJean Jr. and aunt, Liz Land; paternal great grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Gus and Eva Guillory.
