Kevin Wayne Gibson

Kevin Wayne Gibson was born February 18, 1966 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late John Gibson, Jr and Clorzina Griffin Gibson.  He was the youngest of seven children.  He received his education in the Lake Charles, Louisiana school district. 

At a very early age Kevin joined and became a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana. 

He worked for a short time as a chef at the Sheraton Inn Hotel.  He loved to cook and play cards.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, John Gibson, Jr and Clorzina Griffin Gibson; sister, Velma L. Gibson Proctor; brothers, Arthur Lee Gibson and Darrell Glen Gibson.

He leaves to cherish his memory sister, Willie Mae Gibson; brothers Larry Donell and Mark Wayne Gibson; one aunt, Shirley Baylor, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
