Lawrence "Wolf" Lee Rubit

Lawrence Lee "Wolf" Rubit was the fifth child born to the union of Annie Bell (Broussard)  Rubit and Alex Rubit.  He was born on February 20, 1948 and departed this life on September 13, 2023.  He attended elementary school in  Lake Charles, La. and High School in Mossville, La.  Lawrence ran track and played basketball.

Lawrence was a member of the Starlight Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. David L. Carter.  He worked as a mechanic and other odd jobs.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his beloved parents and one sister, Ethel Mae (Rubit) Zeno.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his precious memories three daughters, Jurea Renee Rubit of Washington State, Yolanda Watkins and Amanda Williams of Houston, Tx.; two sisters, Mary (Williams) Lawrence of San Jose, Ca. and Betty Jenkins of Lake Charles, La.; two brothers, Herbert (Patricia) Rubit, Alex (Gloria Jean) Rubit both of Lake Charles, La. and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
