Lee Arthur Citizen Sr.

Lee Arthur Citizen. age 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 with his loving wife by his side.  He was born on May 19th 1946 in Elton, LA to Levy and Leanna Jack Citizen.  He was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather.  

Lee will be deeply missed by his wife, Mary, His children, Stephanie Gail Pryor (Travis) of Pearland, TX, Adrian Shannon Citizen (Lana) of Riverside, CA, Lee Citizen Jr. (Latasha), Shawn Citizen, Michelle (Nikki), Dedric Collins and Jarhyn Collins-Citizen all of Lake Charles, LA., Not to forget his 2 bonus daughters, Wyllieshia Dunbar (Grant) of Lake Charles and Wyneeshia Moore (Tommie) of Choudrant, LA., His brother, Phillip Kirklin Citizen (Monica) of Oakdale, LA., Sisters, Laverta Deboest of Lake Charles, LA., Thelma Fields of Upper Marlboro, MD, Fritzie Harris (Morris) of Long Beach, CA., Aunt, Elreen Guillory of Lake Charles, LA.,, twenty three grandchildren, 7 bonus grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lee worked as a longshoreman for 35 years with Local 1349.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering with cars and woodwork, spending time with family and everything outdoors. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Betty Citizen, sisters, Rita Faye Citizen, Eartha Mae Griffith, and Octavia Henry; brothers, Leroy Citizen, Rodney Citizen, and Albert Roy Citizen.  Lee was followed in death by his brother, Joseph Levy Citizen.
