Mrs. Lena Stevens Sanders 94 departed this life on Friday, November 9, 2018.

She leaves to cherish her memories 8 children:  four sons, Walter L. Sanders of Houston, Tx., Cephus Jr. and Eddie Sanders of Alexandria, La. and Earnest (Patience) Sanders of Minnesota; four daughters, Shirley Cooper and Audrey (Bernard) Williams of Alexandria, Lena (Ron) Garvin of Columbia, S.C. and Brenda (Charles) Boyd of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, longtime friendship with Mrs. Delia Carter and Mrs. Lucille Reed and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Willie Stevens Sr. and Mrs. Bessie Harrison; her husband, Cephus Sanders Sr.; two brothers, Wilbert and Pastor Willie Stevens Jr. and one great grandchild, Cederius Darnel Span.
