Matthew Raymond Frugé Jr., 18, passed away on December 15, 2024, in Houma, LA. He was born on December 3, 2006, to Matthew R. Frugé Sr. and Tajawa W. Frugé. Matthew was a beacon of kindness and intelligence, known for his quick wit and readiness to help others. He attended Broadmoor Elementary and graduated from University View Academy in Baton Rouge, LA, where he maintained a 4.0 GPA.
Matthew was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lake Charles, LA, where he made his first Holy Communion and attended St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma, LA. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him through his actions and interactions with others.
He loved music, and his hobbies included video games, reading, watching movies, going to the movie theatre, and learning about past U.S. military wars. Matthew also had a keen interest in fashion and automobiles, often spending time with his friends and family exploring these passions. He especially enjoyed playing with our family dog, Diesel, and fishing.
Matthew leaves behind a loving family, including his parents, Matthew R. Frugé Sr., and Tajawa W. Frugé; his sisters, Madyson and Myah Frugé; and his grandparents, Phillip and Christine Frugé Sr., Joseph and Linda Babineaux and Johnathan Pete and Paulette Wheeler. Matthew Raymond Frugé Jr. was a cherished presence in their lives and will be deeply missed.
