Obituary

Michael Joseph Stevens was born August 29, 1956 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late Wilson Stevens and Morena DeClouette Stevens. 

Micheal passed away peacefully on February 2nd, 2026 at the age 69.

Micheal was a life-long resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. 

Michael Joseph Stevens accepted Christ at an early age.

Micheal was employed as a laborer at the Farmers Rice Milling Company and also worked as a plumber at  Gerald Guillory Plumbing Service LLC.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Morena D. Stevens, and his eldest brother, Larry Joseph Stevens.

He leaves to cherish his only loving son, Kedric Hooker, caring niece/daughter, Deana (Carlton) Avery. He also leaves to cherish four siblings Archery (Lillian) Stevens, Carolyn Guillory, Theresa Green, Aaron Stevens, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
