Monica Lynn Bradley-Broussard, 61, was born on November 16, 1962, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and spent her formative years as a resident of New York State before she returned to Lake Charles and made her home in DeRidder, Louisiana. She entered into eternal rest on December 22, 2023.
She was a 1980 graduate of Sulphur High School in Sulphur, Louisiana. She worked for the Lake Charles City Prosecutor’s Office as a Criminal Coordinator.
Monica was preceded in death by her parents, Rutherford Bradley and Olevia Gradney Bradley; siblings, Larry Dellafosse and Carolyn Bradley Gant.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Fernest Broussard of DeRidder, Louisiana; her son, Semarr Jabour (Paige) Patrick of Houston, Texas; one stepdaughter, Ashley Broussard of Lake Charles, Louisiana; three stepsons, Fernest Edward Broussard (Kenetra) of Cypress, Texas, Linton John Edwards of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Torrance Edward Broussard, of Las Vegas, Nevada; five siblings, Bernadine Tina Honoré ( Pastor Michael), Martha Ann Jourdan ( Pastor Joseph), both of Sulphur, Louisiana, Carla Marie Williamson (Barnabas) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Douglas Dellafosse of Alexandria, Louisiana, and Horace Dellafosse, Jr. (Thelma) of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Theodore Bradley and Lincoln Avery Lofton-Patrick of Houston, Texas; and host of other grandchildren, relatives and friends.
