Norris Lee Williams Sr. was born March 21, 1950 in DeQuincy, Louisiana to Verline Woodard Williams and Willie Lee Williams.
Norris was a 1968 graduate of Grand Avenue High School in DeQuincy, Louisiana. He attended and was a 1975 graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He was a member of Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church in DeQuincy, Louisiana under the leadership of Pastor James Harris. Norris was a member of the Sunday School, Choir and Brotherhood. He was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather and uncle.
He departed this life on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at The Care Center of Dequincy, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Verline and Willie Lee Williams and sister, Diana Lynn Williams.
Survivors are three children, Nia Yvette Harris (David) and Shondale Glanton (Carlton) of Atlanta, Ga, Norris Lee Williams Jr. of Moose Lake, MN; sister, Margaret Williams Clement of DeQuincy, LA.; 2 grandchildren, Lynda Nicole Bailey (Otaze) and Carlos Alexander Glanton of Atlanta, GA. and a host of relatives and friends.
