Ralph Adam January was born on December 28, 1940 to Ralph and Dorothy January in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Out of their union he was the first of two children. Growing up in a Christian home, Ralph accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated Class of '58 from W.O. Boston High School.
Shortly after high school, Ralph met and married Curtistene Pipkins and to their union a son was born.
After 25 years of tenure, Ralph retired from Conoco Refinery in Lake Charles, La. And for several years he worked part-time at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Department. Ralph was also a member of the Road Brother's Social Club. Hobbies of passion were cooking, fishing, bowling, shooting pool and occasionally hunting.
Ralph leaves to treasure his memory: one son, Michael Anthony January (Bridgette) of Cedar Hill, Tx.; two grandsons, Michael Austin and Michael Alex; former wife and life-long friend, Cindy January (extended family daughter, Aisha Williams; two grand-daughters, Armani and Naysia Williams) former wife, Mary January; (extended family two sons, Terrell and Eric Nonette; daughter, Marzetta Nonette-Howell) nephew, Jeffery Martin; great niece, Michelle Cerf as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Ralph January was preceded in death by his father, Ralph January; mother, Dorothy Davis-Branch; first wife, Curtistene Kirkwood; his loving sister, Ruby Martin and extended son, Gerrell Nonette.
Ralph January took his first breath of Heaven on January 7, 2022.
