On Saturday, December 17, 2023 at 3:43 a.m. God called our mother, Ruby Gertrude Andrus Gary to rest. We accept God's will and pause to reflect on the beautiful life of our dear mother.
Ruby Gertrude Andrus Gary was born October 14, 1941 to Aristle Andrus and Gustiva Broussard in Grand Coteau, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Gary Sr.; her brothers, Willie Andrus, Patrick Andrus, Aristle Andrus Jr. and her sister, Patsy Ruth Julien.
She leaves to cherish the memories, her daughters, Mary Melissa (Sidney) Simien and Angela Marie Gary Duruseau; her son, Jesse (Jackie) Gary Jr.; six grandchildren, Frederick, Sidney Jr., Marcus, Calvin, Kimberly, and Cedric; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth (Leonard) Fuselier and Ursula Andrus; one brother, Ignatius (Shirley) Andrus and a host of nieces, nephews, loving family and dear friends..
