Sheila Anita Guillory

Sheila Anita Guillory, 51 was born on August 6, 1973 in Lake Charles, LA to Matthew and Jessie Mae Guillory (Bushnell).  She died on March 23, 2025 surrounded by her children.

Sheila was a proud member of Washington Marion Marching Juke box band.  After graduating high school , she went on to serve our community working as a cook and housekeeper at area hospitals.  She went on to get her CDL, driving 18 wheelers for local plants.

Family meant everything to her.  She dedicated her life to caring for her ailing father and brothers as they neared the end of their lives.  In addition to caring for them and her two girls, Sheila found time to do countless favors for all the people she loved.

Sheila is survived by her two daughters, Nicole Guillory and Katelyn Prescott; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and godchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents,, Matthew and Jessie Mae (Bushnell) Guillory; and siblings, Troy, Herman, and Andre' Guillory and Jackie (Guillory) Orsot.

Visitation will be on April 5, 2025 at Stevens' Funeral Home from 9:00a, until 10:45am.  The rosary will begin at 10:00am led by Deacon Chad Thibodeaux.  Her funeral will be at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 11:00am.  The Reverend Rommel Tolentino will officiate.  Burial will immediately follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you pray for the repose of Sheila's soul by having Masses offered in her memory.
