Sheraton Joy Frank

Sheraton Joy Frank was born on December 1, 1975 to Clifton Harris and Barbara Fincher in Lake Charles, LA.  She gained her wings on April 10, 2022.

Sheraton graduated from South Cameron High School in 1996 in Creole, LA.  She was a member on the Tarpon Pep Squad Team.

Sheraton joined Bargeman Memorial Church of God in Christ in Cameron, LA where she was also baptized at an early age. She loved children and found her true calling by becoming a caretaker of small children.  Her love for children never faded and later in life, her home became a safe haven for children.  She would do any and everything for anybody including feeding, providing a place to stay and helping them.

Sheraton became a member of New Beginning Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Charles Porter and later Elder Derrick Gallien in West Lake, LA.

The joy of Sheraton’s life was becoming a mother to her four children; Isaiah, McKeithan, Aderius and Shyla Frank.  When her grandchildren came along, they brought so much joy to her life. 

Sheraton was a loving and caring person with a heart of gold.  She took care of all her nieces and nephews as if they were her very own. She was at all the family gatherings and doing whatever her hands found to do.  She was one that just jumped right in. 

Sheraton was loved by everyone and always wore a beautiful smile on her face which we all will truly miss. Her motto was, “It’s just nice to be nice”.

Sheraton leaves to cherish her memory, 4 children: Isaiah, Mckeithan, Aderius, and Shyla Frank; 4 grandchildren: Keymonte Thomas, DaVonte & Milo Frank and Little Addison; Mother: Barbara (Frank) Fincher; Father: Clifton Harris; 3 sisters: Tira Harris, Quiana (Leon Jr) Clayton, and Ashley Bushnell; 2 brothers: Durnell Frank and Joseph Bushnell: Godparents: Uncle Calvin and Evangelist Rose Mason; 5 aunts: Jo Ann Frank, Elder Henrietta Williams, Sharon (Marvin) LaSalle,  Lillian Moore and Evangelist Rose (Calvin) Mason; 3 uncles: Henry Rankin Jr, Great Uncle Benny Harris and Steve Moore Sr; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
