Taylor Ann Reed was born on January 8, 2004, to Rodrecus Campbell and Treshonia Reed. Taylor transitioned from her earthly home on September 23, 2025.
Taylor was a graduate of Lake Charles College Prep in 2022, where she was a member of the band. She was a trumpet player and drum major. She continued her education at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana on a Music and Academic Scholarship. Taylor decided to return home and was currently attending Sowela Technical College and working at Wal-Mart Supercenter. Taylor had a love for music and poetry.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Alfred Duhon, Sr., Louella Duhon; and her grandfather, Gerold Reed.
Taylor’s smile and memories will be cherished by her parents, Joshua and Treshonia Mitchell, Jr.; her dad, Rodrecus Campbell, her siblings, Rodriguez “Jakia” Joseph, Kendra Campbell, Milik “Maddison” Poullard, Deontre Thomas, Jasmine (Zhang) Zhang, Joshua Mitchell, Kiara Mitchell, Jynia Mitchell, Tyhee Mitchell, and Fredrick Marks; her grandparents, Herman and Sandra Reed, Joshua and Virgie Mitchell, Sr., and Marie Nelson; her aunts, Latricia Reed, Ranadera (Rico) Moore, Leola Mitchell, and Rhonda Mitchell; her uncles, Julius (Tichelle) Mitchell, Clifton Campbell, John Lavallais; Godfather, Winston (Ann) Andrews; God sisters, Teirral Thompson and Emaire Lafanette; and a host of family and friends.
Taylor’s unwavering kindness, infectious laughter, and fierce devotion will be deeply missed!
