Terry was born to Fredie Jones and Della Jones-Zachary on September 23, 1961 in Lafayette, La. He lifted up his eyes in Heaven on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the age of 59.
Terry was raised in Opelousas, where he attended Opelousas High School and later joined the Army. He was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, where Reverend Rosette was the Pastor. While in the Army, Terry got injured in a car accident, and was later released on an Honorable Discharge. He moved to Lake Charles where his mother and siblings resided. He then became a member and Deacon of Unity Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. A. B. Lartigue until he gained his wings. His favorite scripture was Psalm 23 "The Lord is my Shepard"
Terry became ill with myelofibrosis, which later developed into leukemia and caused his departure from his loved ones.
Survivors include one sister, Brenda Jones and one brother, Dwayne Marshall both of Lake Charles, La.; two goddaughters, Amand Song and Taylan Levine and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
Those that have gone before him that will meet him at the Pearly Gates are his father, Fredie Jones; his mother, Della Jones-Zachary; two brothers, Gregory Jones and Donald Stevens; one sister, Lisa Kimble.
