Thelma Marie Thierry was born on September 4, 1939 to the late Louis Joseph Guidry and late Maria Carrier Guidry in Welsh, Louisiana. Los Angeles, California was her long-time home.
She was first united in marriage to the late George Victorian. Together they had Denise Egbe, Donald, Dennis, and Dominick (Deceased) Victorian.
Thelma next married Huey “Cookie” Thierry. Together they had Dimitri and Denine Thierry.
Thelma loved dancing and listening to music (Zydeco), especially to anything by “Cookie and the Cupcakes.” She was an accomplished tennis player. She liked reading, watching the news, cruises, eating out with friends and traveling to Louisiana to visit family.
Thelma was most proud of her career (retired) as a transit operator for the Metro Bus Company in Los Angeles. For the last nine years, she was a resident of Stonebridge Place in Sulphur, La.
In addition to her surviving children, Thelma leaves to cherish her siblings, Mary Guidry, Gerry Lewis, Jimmy (Marie) Guidry, Evelyn Sam, Emelida (Hilman) Chavis, Anita (Richard) Coleman, Margret (Walter) Johnson, Gustavia Ramsey as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Thelma was pre-deceased by her parents, brother, George Guidry, and son, Dominick Victorian.
