Theola "Tit" (Wilright) White

Theola (Wilright) White, 79 of Westlake, Louisiana, quietly departed this life on March 2, 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana.  She was born September 14, 1943 to the late Ivory Wilright Sr. and Rosa Lee Wilright in Westlake, Louisiana and graduated from Mossville High School.

She was united in holy matrimony to Frederick "June" White Jr.  Their union was blessed with two sons, Sederick and Brian.

Theola was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and served the city of New Orleans in various capacities for over 20 years.  She returned to the workforce as a childcare provider at Benjamins Infant Preschool Center.  She was involved in her community in St. Rose, Louisiana, and supported her fellow cab drivers when she owned Theola's Cab Service.  She enjoyed cheering on the New Orleans Saints, fishing, traveling, mingling with family and friends, and dancing.

Theola was preceded in death by her parents, Ivory Wilright Sr. and Rosa Lee Wilright, and siblings, Lawrence Wilright Sr., Shirley Wilright, Thomas Wilright Sr. (Twin), and Patricia Wilright Ford.

She is survived by her children, Brian Keith (Deana Porter) White and Sederick (Darlene) White; ten grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  She also leaves siblings, Doris  (Antoine) Broussard, Ivory Wilright Jr., Earl (Audrey) Wilright Sr.; sister in law, Vallerie Wilright; and a host of nieces, and nephews to cherish her loving memory.
